Chorizo Pasta


  • 1 Large Onion
  • 4 Cloves Garlic crushed
  • 1 Red Pepper chopped
  • 2 Chorizo Sausage Links sliced
  • 75ml Oil
  • 2 Can Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 500g Dry Penne (or pasta of choice)
  • 1tsp Salt


  1. Add the oil to a large saucepan, and fry the onion, garlic, pepper and chorizo slices in the pan. Stir often. If necessary, add more oil to the pan.
  2. Add the crushed tomatoes.
  3. Stir in paprika and cook on medium-low for 10 minutes. Be careful not to burn the sauce.
  4. While the sauce is simmering, cook the pasta until al dente +/- about 10-15 minutes.
  5. Drain the pasta immediately add the pasta to pan and mix it together with the sauce.
