- 1/2 head of white cabbage shredded finely
- 50ml white vinegar
- 50ml oil
- 1tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Slice cabbage finely and place in bowl
- Add the oil, vinegar and some freshly ground black pepper. Stir well, until the cabbage salad starts to glisten
- Take handfuls of the cabbage and squeeze them in your hand to release the extra moisture.
- Taste and adjust (if necessary) with more salt, pepper, vinegar and oil. It should taste rather sour and salty.
